Novel Coronavirus
(COVID-19)
Safety Practices
The following plans and processes are in place to make the space as safe as possible for all clients. We will continue to adapt to this “new normal” and follow the city’s guidelines closely to do our part in lowering transmission. All safety guidelines are required by the CDC & NY State Department of Health.
All Private Sessions: All sessions will be 1:1 and fully at the individual client’s comfort level. Clients may choose to change their own springs with guidance, etc. For the time being, duet sessions will not be offered. More Time Between Clients: Sessions will be scheduled with at least 30 minutes in between to ensure plenty of time for sanitation and less chances of client interaction in hallways. Ventilation, Social Distancing & Face Coverings: The floor will be taped to denote 6 ft of spacing between the equipment and instructor. Both client & instructor will wear acceptable face covering. Windows will be kept open to ensure proper ventilation (to client’s discretion). Regular Disinfection & Cleaning: All equipment as well as frequently touched common areas will be cleaned thoroughly and regularly after every client in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Department of Health (DOH) using products identified as effective against COVID-19. Any props that are used will be specifically set aside and sanitized before used by another client. Custom vinyl reformer straps have replaced the previous fabric versions for a more thoroughly disinfected touch surface. Contactless Payments: Please keep updated payment and contact info on file.
How you can help:
- Complete a verbal health screening before each appointment to confirm you are not currently experiencing a fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
- Thoroughly wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds when you arrive. All bathrooms will be unlocked so no shared key is required.
- Regularly use the available alcohol-based hand sanitizer as needed before or during a session.
- Bring a towel from home to use during your session.
- If you do not feel well, please let me know and stay home. For now, there will be no penalty for a sick cancel.
